New Column at Australian Birdkeeper: Jim has commenced
a regular parrot behaviour column for Australian Birdkeeper
Magazine. `Pet Parrot Pointers' will offer insights into
companion parrot behaviour issues drawn from Jim's experience
working with clients over many years of consultative work.

Sanctuary Parrot Workshops: New dates for 2007
have been organised to continue Australia's most advanced
and professional workshop series on parrot behaviour, health
and care. The new Level 1 and Level 2 format will provide
participants with a comprehensive skills
toolkit for companion parrot owners of all experience levels. Level
2 will once again be co-presented by Dr. Bob Doneley,
one of Australia's most respected and highly qualified Avian
Veterinarians.

Off to IAATE 2007 : Jim will be attending
the International Association of Avian Trainers and Educators
annual conference in February 2007. This event will be held
at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, Tacoma Washington.
New Presentations: Jim will be presenting
lectures at the Northern Rivers Avicultural Society, Gold
Coast Aviary Bird Association and Parrot Society of Australia
meetings in 2007. Check the calendar for
