Parrot Behaviour & Enrichment Consultations conducts Australia's most comprehensive and professionally presented Parrot Behaviour and Care workshops in partnership with Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Gold Coast Australia. Our workshop provides companion parrot owners, veterinarian nurses, pet store staff, parrot breeders and parrot behaviour behaviour enthusiasts with an essential `toolkit' of knowledge, understandings and skills to provide the foundation for progressive parrot care and behaviour management.

CWS Partnership...

Delivered in partnership with Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, the workshop experiences will be presented within the beautiful sanctuary grounds, utilising the facilities and resources of CWS. This will offer a true `immersion’ as a wildlife education experience. Participants are free to explore the Sanctuary exhibits at the conclusion of the workshop!

The CWS Parrot Workshop experiences have been designed to deliver information appropriate for participants who have a variety of knowledge levels about parrot behaviour and care. Experts and enthusiasts new to parrot ownership will benefit greatly from engaging in the learning experiences encountered throughout the day. Parrot breeders who handraise parrots for the companion bird market are especially invited to ensure that you are equipped to provide the best level of pre and post sales advice to your clients.

New Format...

In 2006 we introduced our new workshops as Level 1 and Level 2 to provide a comprehensive learning experience from foundation level to advanced. This format will continue in 2007! Upon completion of Level 1 and Level 2, participants will have engaged in opportunities to enhance their ability to care for their companion parrot, interpret their behaviour, diagnose health issues and develop positive reinforcement behaviour management strategies. Each workshop will be delivered as a series of modules combining multi-media and practical demonstrations. Participants will actively engage in opportunities to discuss their specific needs as parrot owners within a supportive, educational framework

Introducing `Dr. Bob!'

We are very pleased to announce that one of Australia's most qualified, experienced and respected avian veterinarians, Dr. Bob Doneley, will be co-presenting our Level 2 Parrot Workshop. Dr. Bob will be delivering the `Avian Health and Nutrition' modules throughout the day. Dr. Bob is an accomplished presenter and his presence and experience at our level 2 workshop will result in a world-class workshop opportunity for everyone involved with parrot care and behaviour.
